Grenada Lake in Grenada, MS is the site for the third event on the Crappie Masters National Qualifier in 2024. The full field of anglers from multiple states will all have their eyes set on their piece of the $20,000.00 guaranteed purse going to our top 12 placing teams. Competition will begin on March 8th with Championship Saturday taking place on March 9th.
Grenada Lake has been a staple on the schedule for the past few years and has produced record breaking weights in the past with an incredible 14 fish two-day record weight of 44.71 lbs. from the team of Matthew and Bruce Rogers (Pictured Below) which is an incredible 3.19 lbs. average per fish.
Once again in 2024 Grenada Tourism Commission is our host sponsor for this event playing a vital role in making this event a huge success for the local area and also a welcoming experience for all of our anglers.
Diving into this event March 8th & 9th, 2024 on Grenada Lake we are expecting weights from two days of fishing (10 Fish) to break the 30 lbs. with the potential for an even bigger two-day weight total. Grenada Lake is full of giant 3 lb. class fish and when the best anglers in the country show up on Grenada Lake you will always unlock the lakes full potential.
This year in 2024 will be slightly different then the past two years as the current water level is roughly 8 feet lower. With the lower water level, we are more than likely to see being fish caught in totally different areas then in the years past and will make for an exciting event.
Tournament Registration will be held at the Lewis Johnson Senior Citizen Complex with check-ins taking place from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with the official rules meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Fishing Hours will take place from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and you must be returned to the weigh in line by 4:00 p.m. Livewell checks will take place from 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. at Grenada Landing along with our weigh ins being held there both days.
