Everyone has been accustomed to seeing Brian Sowers behind the mic for Crappie Masters on the National Level for many years and that will be continued on throughout 2022 and for many years to come! Additionally Brian will be also attending many of the Crappie USA events across the country as a National Tournament Director for 2022.
Brian Sowers will also be a part of the Crappie Masters All American Tournament Trail, Crappie USA Tournament Trail & King Kat Tournament Trail Presented by Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s National Sponsorship Team.
Darrell Van Vactor, Crappie USA General Manager & National Tournament Director
When you think of the sport of tournament crappie fishing, Darrell Van Vactor comes to your mind. With 37 years of experience in tournament fishing, he has seen it all. Darrell will be handling operations of the Crappie USA Tournament Trail just like he has done in the past! Everyone will get to see him out on the trail at many of the events along with handling general operations of Crappie USA.
Darrell Van Vactor will also be a part of the Crappie USA Tournament Trail & King Kat Tournament Trail Presented by Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s National Sponsorship Team.
Blake Jackson, Crappie Masters, LLC Owner
Blake will be in attendance at all of the Crappie Masters National Events along with many of the Crappie USA Tournaments coming up here in 2022, serving as a National Tournament Director at all of the events.

As an avid angler I’m currently fishing catfish tournament’s around the southeast, including in past King Kat Tournaments.
I appreciate your update for the future of Crappie Tournament Fishing and this is encouraging!
In saying this at 63 years of age, I am interested in transforming more into the Crappie Tournament Trails. I have been following the trails an I’m very encouraged by how both trails are evolving.
Blake, I enjoy fishing competitively, and although I have much to learn in the realm of these professional anglers I look forward to the challenge.
Having never fished a Crappie Tournament before I look forward to my first Crappie USA Tournament on Crescent Lake January 8th 2022.
Encouraged by joining the group I look forward to meeting you and the other staff in 2022.
