What To Expect At The Bracket Showdown This Weekend

The Crappie Masters All-American Tournament Trail will be in beautiful Magnolia, Arkansas on Lake Erling for the 2023 Bracket Showdown this weekend, hosted by City of Magnolia Advertising & Promotion!

This event is just the 2nd-ever Crappie Masters Bracket Showdown where teams will be paired at random in a head-to-head style tournament for the first two days.

Only 30 teams will advance to Championship Saturday, where the weights will be zeroed out and all teams will compete against each other for the top prize of $10,000.00.

Registration and the Bracket pairings will take place Live on Crappie Masters Facebook page around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, where all of our teams will be drawn at random to create the Bracket Showdown. Be sure to tune in live!

HOW THE BRACKET SHOWDOWN WORKS

• Day 1: Day number one will consist of teams going head-to-head, fishing for a seven-fish limit. Each winning team from the head-to-heads advances on to the Day Two winner’s bracket, with the losing team advancing to the Day Two loser’s bracket.
• Day 2: The winner’s bracket will consist of the team that won their matchup on day number one and will be faced up against another winning team from day number one. The weights will be zeroed out from day number one, creating an even playing field. The winning teams from these Day Two head-to-heads will advance on the Championship Saturday! The teams that fall just short in the Day Two winner’s bracket will still have a chance to advance if their Day Two weight is in the top 50% of the teams that fell short in the winner’s bracket. If it is, those teams will move on the Championship Saturday as well.
• Day 2: The teams that fall short on day number one will all be competing against each other on day number two all with a zeroed-out weight from day number one. The top 10 teams move on to Championship Saturday.
• Day 3: The Bracket Showdown will end up with 30 teams on Championship Saturday, all with zeroed-out weights and competing for over $25,000 in prize money in a seven-fish limit one-day tournament with your champions taking home a guaranteed $10,000.00.

Weighs in each day will be taking place at Unity Church Magnolia 92 US Hwy 79 North, Magnolia, AR 71753 around 3:30 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Everyone in attendance along with all of the anglers will have the option to grab a TOTALLY FREE hot dog, chips, and a drink on Thursday and fried fish, chips, and a drink on Friday and Saturday.
